Took our almost 2 year old in for her first visit today. I was a little worried if she would let them look in her mouth. Although she was crying the whole time the dentist and assistant were so gentle and kind and calm. They were able to brush, do the exam and put fluoride on her teeth. We will definitely be back for all of her dental needs. The entire office staff was so nice. The office is new and beautiful. They had coloring for the kids while we waiting for our appointment and each room had tvs to distract our little one. Recently, we found that our daughter requires extensive dental work. For a mom that is only disturbing, but also nerve racking! So, to say the least, Dr. Ritchie came highly recommended from my dentist in Canton. Yes, it is very much so worth it for me to drive to Tyler to see Dr. Ritchie. He has a great personality and actually really cares about what is best for my child. Not all health care professionals have this character trait. He was awesome! He played with my daughter, got on her level and our experience was out of this world. She did so well with him.

His office is full of wonderful kid friendly staff as well. The staff was so wonderful about making it all about her experience. The chalk board wall with magnets was a huge hit among all the little hidden areas full of great toys. My daughter loved it and is ok with going back which really makes my life easier. I would say with the t.v.’s on the ceiling and the great staff, it’s hard to find anything much better than that! Hat’s off to Dr. Ritchie and his staff – they have made my job as a mom much easier and a little girl not afraid of all the things that are about to come for her and her teeth!

We came from another local dentist due to an unpleasant experience. Dr. Ritchie and his staff were Awesome from the front desk to checkout and everywhere in between! I know how important customer service is in the medical field and this office went above and beyond to make my girls feel comfortable. It is not easy to have a 2 & 4 year old sit still and not flip out. Highly recommend this Pediatric Dentist.

Highly recommended! Relocated to TX from NC and found Dr Ritchie. He is a blessing. Such an awesome dentist and takes his time, very patient and caring. Exactly someone I want taking care of my daughter.

Dr. Ritchie has a heart of gold. He is a very gentle kind man and puts even my autistic son at ease. His staff also shares his attitude toward children and the facility is very inviting for kids.

Love this place! Super sweet, friendly staff and great with kids! They are also very patient which is so important if your kid is scared like mine!! Would recommend this wonderful place to anyone! Thanks guys for always making our visits so special.
